City Brush Dump and Brush Pick Up

Category: News.

The City brush dump is located at the west end of First Avenue (south of the Wayne County Fairgrounds).

Brush pick-up is the 3rd Thursday of the month now through November.  Pick up can be arranged by contacted City Hall at 872-1826 to be put on the pickup list.  A small pile of brash or bags of leaves is $5 and a large pile is $10.  The charge will be applied to the resident’s next water bill.

Large branches must be cut to  4-foot lengths or less with cut ends toward the street.  Piles of brush must be near the curb.  The city workers will not go up a driveway or into yards to get the piles.  Leaves and grass clippings must be in bags.

Thank you!
